God Is With Us - Isaiah 43:1 - 3
Suffering and disappointments abound in our world. Failure looms, troubles run deep, loneliness envelopes us, fear threatens to conquer. However, these cannot overpower and engulf us because there is Someone who rules over all human events . . . Someone who created the universe in power and gave up His rights and came to this suffering planet. He stood utterly alone, experienced temptation, tasted sorrow, knew weariness and pain. He was misunderstood, rejected and then killed. He knows our hurts, loneliness and fears.
He promises to never leave us and will go with us through the fires and deep waters. He lights our way in darkness so we won't stumble. We are His . . . He will protect us and deliver us. We are conquerors because He conquered for Us . . . His death for our life . . . His rejection for our acceptance with God . . . His sorrow for our joy. He made it possible for us to live forever in heaven where there will no longer be sorrow and suffering.
